Session Notes
Mac - passive perception, notice music is continuing, bartender is backing away from situation, most people are rubbernecking, patrons with crossbows out and larger men walk towards the scuffle
Guy approaches Mac, wearing emblem of Dukedom of Kissilem (Cistellan), tries to calm bouncer, Vark, and talks to Mac, stops the fight
E takes out 2 gold to buy a round for the entire bar, Lieutenant Stuart Perch introduces himself to E, “I appreciate your help, Ser Rodger is not the type of clientele we expect to have here for much longer”
A follows Mac outside but will go around to investigate the back room
Mac talks with the guards, “there are seedy characters in the bar, hard to tell friend from foe”
A walks around back of the tavern, come across locked cellar doors, 13 perception check don’t hear anything on the other side, empty space
E and G, everyone in the tavern puts their weapons away, E keeps drinking with everyone that thanks her. Rowena asks if E is a knight, she’s a freesword and is very awkward, even though she’s loosened up a bit with the booze
Thresh tells G that he’s heading up to Risten
My lock picking doesn’t work, I break one with a hammer
Mac heads to the watchtower with the guards and Ser Rodger, meets Ser Nadon, they lay Rodger down
Mac explains what happened at the tavern with the men pulling out crossbows and the larger guys standing up, he thought there would be a slaughter. Mac points out that they were all wearing typical workwear but their weapons were of higher quality. Ser Nadon asks if Mac will be able to point them out. Is suspicious of them being under command of Lieutenant Perch
Drinks with Ser Nadon, reports of aggression among baronies of Heath
Mac heads back to tavern with Ser Nadon
E is flirting with Rowena and the woman next to her, not familiar with women flirting with her but considers herself very desirable since she grew up around a bunch of guys
Thresh and G are drinking, the “Mentoreigh” don’t do anything for humans, they only help the elves, Thresh calls him “tall of spirit, tall of gumption” and looks can be very deceiving. “Unusual for wizards to be ineloquent”
Human comes up behind G, Benvol, fellow student of the Arcanade
E is talking to woman next to her, Kini, and seed 5 men in grey shirts leave the back room, 3 smaller men 2 larger. E and Kini KISS
Thresh leaves G and Benvol to talk wizard stuffs, noticed strange uptick of people coming up the primflow out of the black boles, very fortified areas, got to be some
I get caught and brought to the cellar
Mac and the guard come back, he notices I’m not there. Ser Nadon goes to talk to Lt. Perch. Mac walks up to E and interrupts her make-out session. E is DRUNK and yelling about A to Mac
E, G and Mac all come to the same question: Where’s Ayana?
E goes to look in the women’s privy.
Thresh comes in and tells everyone that I’ve been captured. E and G follow him. Mac goes to grab Ser Nadon
Ser Nadon and Lt. Perch seem to have made a deal about Ser Rodger. Mac tells Ser Nadon that he’s heading out
A is brought to the cellar and put in a freezer like room. I listen, hear some thwacking that sounds like wood hitting wood. They took my weapons and my backpack. I lay on hands myself to cure my wounds. I’m surrounded by pig carcases, ice, and locked chests.
Mac, G and E come down and notice them going through the backpack and see my bladed maul resting next to a table.
