Session Notes
E leaves the servant’s stairwell, being seen by one servant man and makes it back outside. She puts armour on by herself - takes around 10 minutes
Heads to guards quarters to try to pick up on any gossip, lost opportunity to talk to Celethorn
Gnorman and Mac - Book is “History of Legends Index”, familiar title to him but not in this form. Series of works that’s divided into volumes, collection of studies by the Bard Ginsinger (was a lore hunter, traveled across Hollisen collecting tales and rumours, looking into them with factual accuracy, cap or no cap) G has come across Vol 2: Peoples before.
The Index lists different volumes like a key that goes with the other volumes, not as thick as the volume he’s come across before. Go to Tavern, The Broken Stallion.
Meet Ayana and Moss outside of the tavern, tells us about the Index - “it doesn’t tell you any information, just where to find it?”
Is the only copy of these volumes in the Arcanade? - there are copies, transcribed and sent all over the kingdom
Best plan seems to be to try to find the volume that discusses healing
Emmeline
Walks into guardhouse unnoticed, they have bigger fish to fry, very few people are just chilling. Most people are working, moving around, clerical work or accepting deliveries, she knows the Clerk, Terald
He has not noticed her, she walks up and asks what she can do to help, starts unloading a shipment
Terald apologizes for what happened to the prince, she tells him that she will be setting out at sunrise to try to fix this, “hard to know the person that did this is just sitting in the dungeon” kind of fishing for info
Terald “he deserves to sit in the dungeon, my punitive days are over” surprised that she’s going out
E tells him that she was sent out by ser edmund anyway to get on the ground experience, asks him about his experience with the dungeon
Terald “the dungeon isn’t a quiet or pleasant place, inquisitors will be involved given the high profile nature, would be good for you to follow your mentor’s orders rather that worry about your family here. Maybe you’ll find the healer or cure”
Finishes loading up. Emmeline, “if theres anything else. You know the prince is such a kind, just man. Do you think he will stay the execution of the poisoner if he wakes up?”
Gerald “given the knight’s high status, execution might not be on the table unless they want to declare war. Anyone else, it may be possible after a trial. The elf maintains his innocence so it could be someone else.”
E “in my heart i know rowan would not want us to execute anyone without us knowing the truth. Make sure that others don’t stoke this story” She leaves and listens for any conversations she can overhear about what they think of the circumstances

We walk back to the carts, still waiting on emmeline, about half the carts are gone, muddy mess of yard
Colum is at a fire and making some sausages, I tell him that I want to go find the cure, with my friends, have to prove that Celethorn is innocent
He thinks it’s a great idea, he’s going to stay to try to help Celethorn. I don’t want to leave him alone - Colum always has us, has a tattoo of 5 pointed star on his chest over his heart.
Emmeline joins us, tells us that they are unlikely to make any moves until a formal inquisition is done, any punishment would essentially be a declaration of war. Seems public opinion is all over the place.
